The Route

This year’s ride will include 3 different routes to a unique lunch stop and some innovative new riding challenges and skill testing questions designed to sort out the winners of a multitude of prizes.

Route master and all ‘round good guy Eric Roehl has pulled out all the stops to link the best back roads and road allowances in Southern Ontario in order to challenge even the most ardent ADV rider. This year’s extreme route is 260 kms long and riders will need to leave the starting point no later than 8:30 am in order to make the lunch stop at a reasonable hour.

Other requirements for riders who choose the extreme route include knobby tires, and pre-loading the GPS files prior to Saturday, July 9. If you have registered for the OAR you can contact Eric at ktmer@live.ca.

The 2016 OAR ride routes will include a paved route and a gravel and pavement route and you can ride on your own, with your friends or choose one of our group leaders to ride with.

The Mohawk Inn is a great place to meet friends.
